Hydrosol® : SBPs (Special Boiling Point products)

The products in the HYDROSOL® aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents range, are SBPs (Special Boiling Point products).

This range was developed in line with TOTAL Special Fluids' commitment to offer products with toxicological and ecotoxicological levels lower than current regulatory requirements.

Specifically, the products in the HYDROSOL® range contain no detectable concentration of Benzene (typically less than 1 ppm, guaranteed 5 ppm max)

These products also have an extremely low aromatic content, typically 10ppm, giving the user greater flexibility when formulating products.

 

Main applications for the HYDROSOL® range

  • HYDROSOL PENTANE: Expandable polystyrene, Aerosols.
  • HYDROSOL ISOHEXANE: Adhesives, extraction agents, aerosols, process fluids
  • HYDROSOL HEXANE: Oil seed extraction, extraction of essential oils for perfumes, process fluids and adhesives.
  • HYDROSOL HEPTANE: Glues, adhesives, tyres, cleaning
  • HYDROSOL ESS. A: Stain remover.
  • HYDROSOL ESS. 60/95: Glues, spot remover
  • HYDROSOL ESS. C: Household cleaning products, rubber manufacture.
  • HYDROSOL ESS. 80/110: Rubber processing, adhesives
  • HYDROSOL ESS. E<5: Rubber processing, paints
  • HYDROSOL ESS. 100/140: Rubber processing
  • HYDROSOL ESS. F< 5: Paints, rubber processing, degreasing, dry cleaning.
  • HYDROSOL ESS. 75/95 Naphthenic : Adhesives and degreasing
  • HYDROSOL ESS. 100/130 Naphthenic : Adhesives and degreasing.
