ExarolŽ, PlaxčneŽ and PlaxolčneŽ

TOTAL Special Fluids produces a comprehensive range of plasticizers used principally in the rubber industry.

ExarolŽ : aromatic plasticizers

Characteristics of the range:

• Low Aniline points ( < 40°C) and high solvency power
• High Density
• Good compatibility with polar elastomers such as: Natural Rubbers, Styrene-Butadiene Rubbers, Chlorinated Rubbers, EPDM, etc.

PlaxčneŽ : paraffinic plasticizers

These water-white non-staining plasticizers are pure paraffinic based mineral oils with the following characteristics:

• High Aniline points ( >87°C)
• Low Volatility
• Good compatibility with polar elastomers such as EDPM, Butyl Rubber, Polybutadiene.

PLAXENEŽ paraffinic plasticizers require no specific labelling under current European legislation.

PlaxolčneŽ : non-labelled aromatic plasticizers

These innovative oils offer the following characteristics:

• Low Aniline points with high solvency power
• Low Volatility
• Good compatibility with polar elastomers, such as Natural Rubbers, Styrene-Butadiene Rubber etc.

Due to their aromatic nature, the PLAXOLENEŽ plasticizer range can be used as a replacement for aromatic plasticizers where labelling is a problem.

PLAXOLENEŽ plasticizers are exempt from labelling under current European legislation.
